Alkhobar Plant – Khobar

The Alkhobar Plant is a major infrastructure facility designed to serve approximately 350,000 residents and support regional water supply improvements. The project is being executed under an EPC contract and is expected to be completed within approximately two years. Once operational, the plant will have a total capacity of 210,000 m³ per day, supplying surrounding districts as well as supporting strategic industrial requirements, including service to Saudi Aramco.

Scope of Supply

FORMA supplied EPS cylindrical void formers for structural applications requiring precise openings and lightweight void formation within concrete elements. EPS cylinders were specified due to their dimensional accuracy, lightweight properties, ease of installation, and ability to create clean, consistent voids for service routing and structural optimization.
